For who is Playground Haarlem?
For adventurers, builders and dreamers
Children play outside less and less (only 14% of children play every day, according to a 2018 study by Jantje Beton), even though this is good for physical and mental development. We want to get children in the region more active and play outside without worries. Playground Haarlem is a place where children are in charge and where they are guided by their imagination. In between romping around, we also organize (small) events here.
For schools and after-school care
If you have to sit still and pay attention every day, a day of fun is great! In the meantime, you will learn all about the city and culture of Haarlem, how to best work together and you will gain self-confidence because you have solved the puzzle or discovered your creative talent. Playground Haarlem is therefore an ideal outing for schools and after-school care centers from Haarlem and the surrounding area.

It is always a challenge to come up with a fun children’s party where you as a parent do not have to just run around. We have the solution for you: celebrate on our spacious grounds in Haarlem. There is something fun to do for everyone and as a parent you can sit back and relax. Or play along.
Ready for the start?
Come and build and make, play and learn, watch and discover in Haarlem, the East district. Here you will find the best of Haarlem, but in a nutshell. That says nothing about the size of our site, because with no less than 5,000 m2, rascals and bosses have plenty of room to romp around.
You can park for free in the area with us. Playground Haarlem is also perfectly accessible by train (Haarlem Spaarnwoude station). From there it is a 3-minute walk. Of course you understand that the latter is our preference. 😉
IKEA is located next to Playground Haarlem. We probably don’t have to tell you what you’ll find there. At least Houtbaar are our creative neighbors with a great spot for great events. The bustling Waarderpolder, where the most innovative entrepreneurs in Haarlem and the surrounding area are located, starts on our doorstep.
A unique location, where you can easily enjoy yourself for a day! Our entrance is a real shipping container; the tunnel to a playground that makes you look at your surroundings differently.
