For children aged 7 to 12, it is now possible to take part in not one, but two extraordinary outdoor activities together with the Mayor of the Outdoors. You can choose from four different activities. Together with the Mayor of the Outdoors (instructor), you’ll carry out these activities.
Woodland Creatures Workshop
During the Woodland Creatures Workshop, you’ll bring a (fantasy) forest creature to life using natural (recycled) materials. From a unicorn on wheels to a blue-haired dragon—nothing is too crazy in this workshop.
Candle Atelier
In the Candle Atelier, you’ll make candles from beeswax that you can actually light—how cool is that!
String Art Workshop
In this workshop, we’ll get to work with a hammer, nails, and yarn. By hammering nails into a wooden board and wrapping yarn around them, you’ll create beautiful pieces of art.
Seed Bomb Making
Seed bombs are small balls made of clay, soil, and seeds. On a rainy spring day, they can be thrown onto places like vacant lots, roadside verges, your own garden, or into a pot on a balcony. From them, flowers will grow that serve as a food source for wild bees.
